Pre-tan prep guide
Customers are recommended to shave/wax one day prior to their appointment to avoid irritation. The evening or morning before the appointment, skin should be exfoliated paying special attention to dry areas of the body such as hands, elbows, knees and feet (avoid oily scrubs).
Skin should be free of perfume, deodorant and makeup. Customers should arrive to their appointment wearing dark and loose fitting clothing.
If you choose the classic solution, you need to wait 8 hours before you allow any water to touch your skin. If you sleep in the solution, wear long, loose pants and a t-shirt. Avoid skin on skin contact. If you choose Express, you can rinse in 1 to 4 hours. Also exercising and high intensity activities between application and first shower should be avoided.
You will see a difference right after the treatment as the St. Stropez spray mist contains a guide color. Some guide color may transfer to clothing and bed linen but this will wash out of cotton but not so easily from man-made fibres or wool. During the first shower the color guide will wash off and you should wait until the water runs clear before exiting the shower. Your first shower should be a lukewarm rinse without soap and if you must shampoo during your first rinse, pull hair forward and wash or wash in the sink to avoid suds running down your back. Use hands or a soft cloth to wash. Gently pat dry with a soft towel.
